I have 2 hand reared ringnecks (by me) Phantom who is a Lutino and is 7 months old, and Jade who is Green and is 6 1/2 months old.
I hand raised Jade from the egg and Phantom from 3 weeks old when he was just a bundle of fluff. I guess I should admit that Phantom is my favourite but I can't let Jade know.

Phantom

Phantom is my favourite because I got him first and he (I think) reacts most to me.  He never bites me and I can tell exactly what his mood will be as we are so closely bonded.
Phantom goes everywhere with me and has been to the movies, supermarket, petshops, beach practically everywhere that I go.
He also gets to have a snooze in my bed every night.

Jade

I got Jade from a friend when she was still a egg.
She was placed into an incubator and hatched only moments later.
She was about 1 inch long and looked just like a little pink jelly bean.
Jade was surgically sexed and turned out to be a girl even though I thought she was a boy.
Her favourite foods are, Pretty Bird pellets, nutri berries and human food.
Even though people say that ringnecks don't make very good pets as they are hard to train and don't talk, I think that they make the best small parrot pet.
